Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Sales Manager to lead and scale multiple revenue-generating teams and initiatives across the organization. This role sits at the intersection of sales leadership, hiring, enablement, and growth strategy, and is responsible for driving performance while building the structure needed to scale sustainably.
The Sales Manager will oversee sales efforts across staffing, record retrieval, BDR development, and product-led growth initiatives, while working closely with marketing, operations, and leadership. This role is ideal for a leader who is comfortable operating in a fast-moving environment, can adapt to change, and knows how to balance coaching, accountability, and execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and manage multiple sales teams, including staffing, record retrieval, and BDR functions
- Drive pipeline growth, appointment volume, and deal progression across business lines
- Recruit, interview, hire, and onboard sales and BDR talent; maintain a strong hiring pipeline
- Deliver ongoing sales training and enablement, including phone canvassing, objection handling, and consultative selling
- Set clear performance expectations, monitor results, and address underperformance directly and professionally
- Partner with sales reps to re-engage stalled deals, manage large opportunities, and close high-value contracts
- Collaborate with leadership to refine pricing models, contract structures, and volume-based agreements
- Evaluate and implement sales tools and systems (including AI-powered outreach platforms) to improve efficiency and results
- Work cross-functionally with marketing to support brand awareness, name recognition, and product adoption
- Ensure CRM accuracy, pipeline visibility, and consistent sales process execution
- Act as a strategic thought partner to leadership on revenue growth, scalability, and team development
- 10+ years of experience in B2B sales, with at least 2+ years in a sales leadership or management role
- Proven success in managing sales teams and driving quota attainment across multiple revenue streams
- Strong background in consultative selling, pipeline management, and performance coaching
- Experience hiring, onboarding, and developing sales and BDR talent
- Comfortable having direct, data-driven performance conversations
- Ability to operate effectively in a changing environment and build structure where it doesn’t yet exist
- Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills
- Experience working remotely and managing distributed teams
- Preferred experience with HubSpot or similar CRM platforms
- Experience in legal services, staffing, SaaS, or professional services is a plus
